Behind the Scenes of Gabby Douglas On Vampire Diaries

The Vampire Diaries love their former gymnast, Nina Dobrev, but they decided to honor some of the newer and current gold medal winner Gabby Douglas to join them on an upcoming episode. So in honor of her big guest appearance, they filmed a behind the scenes look at her guest appearance on the show. In the video you can see Gabby talking about being on the series that she loves, as well as seeing her meet with some of the cast, who also share their thoughts on her appearance on the series. Gabby can be caught on the this week’s episode (November 29th), “My Brother’s Keeper”. As for the behind the scenes footage, you will find it at the very bottom of this post.

I am happy that Gabby was able to appear on a series that she loves, but I am not sure if it can be compared to her gold medal. That will be a huge thing to top off and right now it seems next to impossible, even if she thinks working with her favorite cast matches it well in her teenager style of thinking. So I can see why she felt that way, but I am still do not agree with her and I think most fellow adults will agree that gold medals means a lot more than a guest spot on any kind of show.

How do you feel about Gabby’s reaction? Is she blowing it up to be something bigger than it is? I do think that the show’s cast had a good reacting when you consider that they were with someone possibly more famous than they are. I just wish that Gabby could realize that and maybe to have focused more on honing her acting chops for future roles or fore whatever line of work she will go for when she does decide to retire from being a gymnast
