Backstreet Boy AJ McLean & Wife Welcome First Child

Backstreet Boy‘s AJ McLean and his wife have just welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Ava Jaymes! The happy couple announced their exciting news over the spring and then shared the gender news this past July. The couple will be celebrating their 1 year wedding anniversary next month, which will be even more special with the birth of their new baby. The mother and baby are both healthy, with little Ava weighing in at 7 pounds and 7 ounces. AJ shared the news with In Touch about the exciting news with the following statement on their new, bundle of joy.

Congrats of course is in order for the couple! I have no doubt that little Ava will be a beauty thanks to her great genes from both sides (AJ is married to Rochelle Deanna Karidis). Hopefully they won’t be those celebrity parents who sells photos of their baby as soon as they can. I would love to see them act like a normal family and raise little Ava as normal as they can in LA. As for the name, I am so grateful they stuck with a classic and simple name for her. I am sure she will be just as grateful once she gets older.

How do you like the name? Will AJ make a good father? I think so since he has made progress in his own life. Plus with the support of his wife, I don’t see how they could not succeed at this. It seems like she has been welcomed in one of the best ways a child can, which is with two loving and happy parents. It will likely be a household full of love and that is how it should be for the McLeans as they continue to grow their household in the future.
