Selena and Taylor

If you are hoping to breakout into the industry and are young, you would love to hear advice from Selena Gomez & Taylor Swift. Their success isn’t overlooked and that is likely one of the reasons why Radio Disney had them give advice to Radio Disney’s: Next Big Thing contest. The top 5 finalist were able to hear the wise words from the two friends who have been through it all for the most part in fame. So both of them had good advice to these young hopefuls, which 1 of them will be singing on an upcoming episode of Austin & Ally. As for the advice they shared with the contestants, here are their quotes.

Taylor Swift -

“My advice would be to write a letter to whoever you’re wanting to say what you feel to. Instead of trying to put all this pressure on yourself to write a song. Just write what you’re feeling, If it comes to you in the form of a melody than that’s great. If it just comes to you as a diary entry or a poem…whatever you need to do to get out your feelings.

Selena Gomez told them-

You’ve got to love it. Be passionate about it. Be humble about it. Enjoy it, but also remember where you are. Have fun whether you win or not.

Both gave good advice, even if they did give drastically different answers. I personally think that is even better since no one wants the same kind of answers over and over again, lets me honest. Everyone wants a fair chance to have new advice and the fact that they did have different things to say only enriched those singers. Hopefully they took advantage of this free advice and will take it wherever they go next in their paths.

How do you like Taylor and Selena’s advice? Who would you love to hear advice from them for yourself? I am not sure, but I would love to hear from Taylor or Selena about how they have been able to stay on a good path. It seems like so many of their counterparts have struggled and I love the fact that they have been proven to be above that. Nobody wants to find themselves down the wrong path, so I think they both could offer a lot of insight on that in a way.
