Taylor Swift Duet with Ed Sheeran – Everything Has Changed Leaked

By on October 20, 2012

We already told you all about the upcoming duet by Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran earlier this year, which was slated for release on Red-Taylor’s new album. It turns out the single, “Everything Has Changed” has been leaked out earlier and you can now hear it before the October 22 release. The song has quickly become a fan favorite for Ed and Taylor’s fans, which might also surprise some people thanks to her new direction in music. You can hear the lovely song in the video down below if you do not want to wait until Red comes out early next week.

I am glad that Taylor’s fans are loving it. It sounds like it was one of her big songs for the album and by the feedback we have been seeing, it seems like most will agree. I could easily see this turning into a single for her. It would likely chart well for both of them and also give them a nice spike in sales of albums/singles. However, I am pretty sure she has other singles planned out (at least 1) and this song might just wind up being one of those great album treasures.

How do you like the song? Should Taylor and Ed release it as a single? For the sake of album sales and potential tours, my answer would be yes. It would do a fabulous job on the charts, but I can understand why they might want to leave it just as an album treasure. A single has to carry a lot of weight and if the labels don’t approve of it being one of those meaty tracks to support that whole album than so be it. At least we all can hear it though and wish that it lands on the radio one way or another like some songs have in the past.

Update: Looks like the video has been removed
