Taylor Swift Describes Friendship With Selena Gomez

Selena and Taylor

Taylor Swift’s new album might paint her as a bitter ex as usual, but she recently was able to talk about her personal friends-like Selena Gomez. She talked to Access Hollywood about her friendship with Emma Stone and Selena, in which she spills who is good on relationship and career advice. Her choices give us a better look into her friendship dynamics with both Selena and Emma. She also briefly touches on how she deals with rumors and mean comments, which she tries to avoid like the plague. You can watch the simple, yet informative interview with her down below this post.

I am glad that Taylor tries to avoid the bad press about herself, I think that is healthy for her. However, I will admit that I am a little surprised that she did speak on her friendships. I would think that she would treat those as sacred as she does with her boyfriends. So that is surprising, but she also had nothing bad to say about them say about them which could have made up all of the difference for her in the long run. At least that is what I would think be the normal thing to think.

How do you feel about this interview? Was it tacky or classy about what she said about her friends? I think it was fine, but I could see how Emma or Selena might feel hurt. However, since they both are in the same business as Taylor, I assume they know how reporters work. How do you feel about how she copes with bad press? I personally think that she has the right idea about it, even if she does miss out on some of the juicier rumors for her to shut down quickly after they come out. If it helps to protect her feelings, then so be it.
