Selena Gomez To Return With Wizards of Waverly Place

Selena Gomez’s hit series Wizards of Waverly Place might have just ended and canceled the previous sequel to the first movie, but it is set to return next year! Well, it will be more of a special or movie for Disney Channel, in which Selena will be an executive producer for it as well. Selena, Jennifer Stone, Maria Canals-Barrera, David DeLuise, Gregg Sulkin & Jake T. Austin have all been confirmed to return while David Henry will not. Selena just recently announced the news and talked to Ernie D on Radio Disney all about the movie. You can catch the interview video down below for more. As for when the movie airs, it is slated for an early 2013 premiere-with production starting next month! The movie will be about the Russo family taking a vacation to Tuscany, which is where Alex finds herself in a middle of a spell that she casted that causes her to have an evil twin!

Yikes, it sounds like it will be exciting movie. I cannot wait for it to air and for us to see most of the cast reunite for one last big show. It will likely be another emotional special, but I think it will give fans a closure that we lacked when the series ended. It seems only fair that we get to see another movie like they originally said would happen. It seems like maybe Disney has realized that they owed their fans this? Or maybe Selena just wanted to revisit her old role again?

Are you excited for the movie? I am and I am glad that Selena isn’t someone who is afraid of doing stuff for her younger fans, even though she is moving on from Disney as a whole. I think she is setting a great example for Disney’s current group of stars to follow. That would be the best thing for all of them, but I am not sure if many of them would be as willing as Selena has been for her fans.

   i just what to say just to selena gomez , for me ,is that i do love or like selena gomez ,just in my own way , but the only problem i have here is the fact about just why she does,nt what the second sequel just from the beinging , and what,s so special just about the 1 hour tv special the one that she is making just for early next year , what,s so special about it , what i mean to say is that , just look at the fact that david henrie is not in it and second question is that what happened to the creator of todd j green wald is he part of this tv special or what , and this tv special is just about alex and no one else in it it just looks like alex to alex episode , but i do see a ,lot of selena gomez just around her own fan,s ever time she does her own motion picture,s it feel,s like to me that she is already out grown her alex russo time , love david b conway
