Selena Gomez Rocks Out At Jason Mraz Concert

By on October 8, 2012

Selena Gomez is known for her big love of charity work, so when given the chance to give more, she jumps at it. A perfect example of that was when she took her friends to a Jason Mraz show for his foundation, which is called the Jason Mraz Foundation. Selena shared a photo of her and her group of gal pals who attended the show together. She claims that she is living in the moment as the official caption for the photo that she shared on Facebook. Selena is currently preparing for her upcoming Wizards of Waverly Place movie that is set to air next year, hence why she has yet to visit Justin Bieber. As for what she shared with the photo, here is the full quote.

Livin’ in the moment, livin out loud

I am glad that Selena Gomez is taking some fun time off and is making sure to have some girl time. I think that will help her have strong comeback in her old role after not filming that character for about a year now. Hopefully it will also inspire her for her next album, which she hints to be more personal than her previous work. It seems like she could take a cue or two to make important, yet fun songs. I think that will help her top 40 career even more than what she cracked into with her last album.

How do you feel about Selena listening to Jason Mraz? I don’t think it will change her or her music at all. I just think Selena likes his sound and likely liked the fact the show was for charity. Now if she does take a cue for a more mature sound and songs, I am not sure if we can fully blame Jason for that. I know that I did say that she should take a cue and learn how to songs close to her so she can still enter the top 40 radio stations. But I think she could learn that regardless of Jason or not.
