Pretty Little Liars Renewed For Fourth Season

By on October 6, 2012

ABC Family just revealed a dirty little secret and it looks like the ‘A’ team has lots more work ahead.  The show has been picked up for a fourth season.

ABC Family has ordered a big serving of Pretty Little Liars, giving it 24 one-hour episodes that will start to air in mid 2013. But we’ve got plenty of those girls to go around until then. The special Halloween episode will air on Tuesday, Oct. 23, and the second half of season three starts in Jan. 2013.  Speaking of that Halloween episode, Troian Bellisario offered up this tease about the highly anticipated spooky special. “If you enjoyed last year’s, it’s just going to be leaps and bounds [better]. It’s no holds barred. It’s amazing what they did this year. I think we’re still paying for it in terms of the budget,” she laughs. “The costumes are much better this year, the location is out of this world, and the stakes are much, much higher.”   The Halloween special is titled “This Is a Dark Ride” and features musical guest Adam Lambert at the Rosewood Halloween Party, where he’ll perform “Trespassing” and “Cuckoo” from his latest album. Aria, Emily, Hanna, and Spencer have decided to have some “good old Halloween fun” (you’d think they’d realize by now that’s easier said than done).

“Once aboard the Rosewood Ghost Train, the girls are in for much more than just some childish trick or treats. With ‘A’ running amuck and unexpected party-goers popping up at every turn, this Halloween event becomes one killer party,” says ABC Family.  What do you think about this?  Are you excited there is a fourth season?
