One Direction Song Used For Marriage Proposal

By on October 6, 2012

One Direction fans know that those boys make it hard to say no and their music pulls at people’s heart strings. Perhaps that is why a YouTube member named Brad planned a flash mob style proposal with their friends for Emily, his girlfriend. Brad and rest of the friends pull out a show and use One Direction‘s “One Thing” to pop the big question on Emily, who had no clue what was going on. Luckily for all the hard work Brad did, Emily did say yes and they are now a happily engaged couple. Best of all, they filmed their fun and cute proposal that he created for her and shared it on YouTube. So you can see the fun and romantic proposal down below.

I have a feeling that a lot of people will start copying this way of proposal now that he started this trend. My only real issue here is the fact that they sort of shared all of their personal lives on YouTube and that does sort of make it less special. But it was a fun video to see and hopefully One Direction will see this video! I think they would feel honored and maybe they could even offer a gift to them for giving the band another dose of PR.

How do you like the video? Was it clever or cheesy? I think it was a little bit of both, but in a good way clearly. Hopefully the couple will have a great wedding and marriage, along with hopefully a One Direction song as their first dance song. It would only be so fitting for them and for the boys to be tied to a romantic couple always and forever. Perhaps Brad could even give the guys of One Direction some tips as well!

Awwwwww!!! I was crying when he proposed!!!! That was like one of the sweetest things I’ve ever saw!!! I hope my future husband proposes to me in a way like that… Cuz I love one direction!!! And the notes on the beach? Priceless. That was beautiful.
