Olivia Holt Dishes On Hunting Monster Down in Girl Vs Monster

Olivia Holt is doing her rounds of chit chat sessions to promote her upcoming Disney Channel movie, Girl Vs Monster. She talked to Cambio to discuss her character, hunting for monsters and the fun she had filming the movie. The movie is about a girl who finds out she is a monster hunter, the fifth generation in her family blood line and has try to do the job that her parents are not able to do since they are missing. The movie premieres on October 12, but should also have plenty of re-runs as we approach rest of the month. You can view the interview the interview they did with her down below.

I am excited for the movie since it is a more unique idea from Disney at last. I think this could be their real Halloween movie that will be more fit for kids to a degree at this point. However, I also like how they allowed Olivia to sing and star in her own project. I am not sure why it took them a while to sort of pull her onto their main network, but it is about time for them to do that since she has so much to offer and they do need all the talent that they can get right now.

Are you excited for the movie? I am and I am sure that she is as well. Olivia sounds so happy to finally be able to show off her acting chops once again and to do it on Disney’s biggest network that has a wider reach than Disney XD does. So this is a big step for her and her career to maybe finally have a full Disney launch like it should. Then again, this movie could be testing those waters for her, but either way I am sure we will be laughing and enjoying Disney’s real take on a family based Halloween movie at last for 2012.
