Nicki Minaj And Mariah Carey Have Major Blow-Up On American Idol

Boy, are we in for a super volatile season of American Idol! It was reported that two of the show’s new judges, Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj got into a huge spat in during auditions in Charlotte. What makes this spat different from the other fights on American Idol? This one shut down product for the rest of the day.

TMZ reported that Minaj shouted, “I’m not putting up with her highness over there.” Mariah then retaliated with “Oh why, WHHYYY do I have a three year old sitting around me?”

Whether the beef was real or it was staged to provide entertainment, only time will tell. It’s been speculated that both singers would clash thanks to their huge personalities and this is definitely indicative of that. I’m hoping that if the fight was real, that both artists can make amends now so they can keep their focus on the real stars of the show: the young singers.
