Miley Cyrus – Look What They’ve Done To My Song Ma Live

By on October 18, 2012

This year we have seen Miley Cyrus return to music and become more of herself before our eyes. However, we haven’t heard her sing live in a good while and it appears she made a return on stage recently at City of Hope Event. She covered her most recent backyard session cover at the event, “Look What They’ve Done To My Song, Ma“. It appears to be a favorite of Miley’s or one of her more recent obsessed songs to cover while we wait for new, original material to be released. You can watch the video of her live rendition of the song down below, to see how well she is doing on stage after taking a year break from performing on stage or going on tour.

I am glad that Miley Cyrus is working again, I think it will do a lot of good for her as a whole. She grew up in it and I don’t think that kind of crazy, but rewarding line of work can ever be taken out of her. In a way, it seems like it was born in her for a reason. I personally cannot wait until she releases more of her own work. I think that is where we can really see her shine as a majority, while these covers are fun, fillers of what we can expect until she is ready to release her new single.

How do you like this performance? Was it rusty or perfect? I think Miley did good, she seems to have her work cut out for her if she wishes to do so. But I personally wonder if she even knows what she wants to do musically speaking. She doesn’t seem to be ready for her new album, even though she supposedly is set to drop it any day. At least we can say that she has been releasing something, even if she isn’t excited over the songs yet. I am sure she will back them up once she hears them in her own environment.
