Justin Bieber Doesn’t Approve of Mother Dating

Justin Bieber‘s mother, Pattie Mallette recently admitted that when they moved to Atlanta, she would no longer date until he was an adult. Well, now that he is over 18, his mother is back on the market is rumored to already have a guy friend. She is reportedly seeing the host of The Bachelor, Chris Harrison. Justin was recently asked about it by Ryan Seacrest on his show. Justin expressed his displeasure with it, but he did so in a more polite fashion than some might expect from him. In fact, he even admits that he will need to be open minded about his mother and any future relationships she might start. Here is his full quote-

They both came to my show, but I’m pretty sure they came separate. I’m still not cool with it, but I guess I’m going to have to be.

I am glad that he knows that he will have to try to be supportive of his mother’s potential relationships. However, I do think he should be vocal about whom she dates if he thinks she isn’t being picky enough. That will be their best thing they can do to make sure she isn’t repeating what she did before. After all, he likely wants that for her in the long run, even if he is against to see his mom setting herself up for potential heartbreak down the road. Justin Bieber is clearly just trying to protect her in the long run and show that he cares for his mother much like how she cares for him.

Do you think Justin needs to let his mom live and date whoever she would like? I do, but I also think that he cares a lot and clearly if she was ever to get married he would have to get along with Justin. That is a common sense that is often over looked sadly. It will be interesting to see how Pattie feels about Justin’s comments and concerns? He clearly has grown up some and hopefully will keep on doing so. But he is 18 and cannot understand that his mom is in her 30s and still has a whole lot of life left to live. She has every right to find that someone special just as much as he has a right to be with Selena Gomez. Maybe as he continues to grow, he will see that his mom needs happiness as well and if that includes a new man-then so be it.
