Justin Bieber, Austin Mahone & PSY Added To Bash

The holiday season is almost among us, and that means the round of holiday concerts by many radio stations. Chicago’s B96 Pepsi Jingle Bash has announced their 2012 lineup and they have some very familiar names attached to the December 15th show. Some of the big acts include Scooter Braun’s clients- Justin Bieber, PSY and Carly Rae Jepsen! They will also have Pitbull, Afrojack, Calvin Harris and Austin Mahone. So far these are the only acts that the station has confirmed for their holiday show, but they could always add to the roster in the weeks leading up to the concert. Tickets will go on sale on October 26th.

I am glad that Justin Bieber, PSY, Austin Mahone and Carly will all have a chance to share their music in times for the holidays. This will likely be a first for PSY, Carly, and Austin, but the rest are likely used to these end of the year kind of shows. I personally love how they have a small show and brought out some stars that are fairly new for the ride. It seems like a great way to allow the more mature singers to join the ranks of the up and coming ones. Or at least that is how I see this set, which I am excited to see video footage of!

Are you planning to attend the show? I sadly live in an area that does not offer these kind of shows, but I do enjoy hearing about the rest of the shows across the country. It seems like this one might be one of the first ones of the year to announce their line up. Either way, I think the fans of the station or any of the listed acts will be excited. I will admit that I was surprised by one fact here, and that was the lack of One Direction. I suppose they could be lined up for other shows, but I thought for sure they would be in one of the first shows announced. What do you guys think, were they jilted?
