Jennette McCurdy & Ariana Grande Share Worldwide Day of Play Ideas

Jennette McCurdy and Ariana Grande are working together thanks to their upcoming series. So Nickelodeon had those two film a new PSA for Nickelodeon’s Worldwide Day of Play. In the TV spots they share ideas on what kids can do during their off air time. Both Jennette and Ariana filmed two of the TV spots, which you can view down below for their ideas that they are throwing around for the views. As for when the Worldwide Day of Play takes place this year, it will be held on October 6th. For those who are not familiar with the day, Nickelodeon will go off air for the day on all of their channels to promote kids going outside and play.

I am glad that Jennette and Ariana are working on this project, but I would like to see them promoting this concept year round and not with just their stars. I think Ariana and Jennette must have other things to work, such like their show. It’s also good to see their faces together again. I think they have a very strong bond and it makes sense that they would carry on their previous characters in a new series.

How do you feel about their ideas? Should Nickelodeon do more to promote the movement than they do? I think so and I think they could do simple TV spots through out the day to reminds kids of the outdoors. It would break up the shows and might even have better results than offering to do just one break a year. Granted, they are a TV network and they need viewers to stay tuned in for their earnings. So I suppose at the very least we should say at least they are trying to promote a more healthy life style.
