Disney Releases New Wreck-It Ralph Poster

By on October 30, 2012

For those of you who have always wondered what it is like to be in the video game world, Disney’s Wreck-It Ralph may just give you that glimpse.

A new poster for the movie was revealed with the movie set to premiere on November 2, 2012.  The CG flick will be starring some old-school video characters from the early 80′s  like Q*bert himself and the actual paperboy from “Paperboy” to several “Street Fighter” and “Pac-Man”.  If you haven’t seen the movie trailer it will definitely make it one of the must see movies of 2012.  Disney has done some pretty smart marketing as it released a game called “Fix-It Felix Jr.,” a lite version of the video game on which the “Wreck-It Ralph” movie is based.  The free download is available for both the iPhone and iPad, and it gives players a glimpse into the world in which Ralph wrecks an apartment building and Felix … well … fixes it!  Instead of just a commercial on TV that one might see in between “Hannah Montana” reruns, Disney gives us a free, interactive way to get excited about its latest product, one we can take with us anywhere we go.

Voices for the movie include: John C. Reilly as Wreck-It Ralph, Jack McBrayer as Fix-It Felix, Jane Lynch as Sergeant Calhoun, Sarah Silverman as Vanellope von Schweetz.  What do you think of the new poster?
