Disney Releases Debby Ryan’s Secret in the Wings Clip
Disney is preparing for the DVD and Blu-Ray release of Secret in the Wings (which features both Debby Ryan and Lucy Hale), which will take place on October 23. Thanks to the non-theatrical release, Disney has released a sneak peek, trailer and photo stills to help raise the attention for their new movie. For those unaware, this is another movie that features Tinker Bell and her friends finding a new discovery that leads unveiling a secret that will change Tinker Bell’s life forever! You will be able to find the clip, trailer and photos down below this post.
I am glad that Tinker Bell has been revisited several times by Disney. I know her demographic might not be popular for some parents, but I think as long as they have a fan base for her and her friends, then they should release new movies starring her. She clearly is popular still ever after all of these years and as they grow her story, they add new friends who in turn become popular. So Disney has a lot of room to work within those type of projects and that is good news for them. It seems like they average around one new Tinker Bell movie per year, which isn’t bad at all for the studio. Maybe next year they can sort if switch it up and make Tinker Bell a co-star instead of the leading lady? It seems like it could be worth a shot and based on their record of releasing those kinds of films, they could change it up a bit.
How do you feel about all of these Tinker Bell projects? Should she take a backseat and allow one of her friends take charge? I think so, but I can understand why Disney might not want to risk it right now when they are already hurting. As for their ideas, I feel like every movie as of late from Disney about Tinker Bell has been the same. So I do feel like they need a change of pace, even if some might argue and say that you cannot expect much else from Tinker Bell or her friends. In the end, it will be interesting to see how much longer Disney will keep on doing these movies.
