Debby Ryan & Lucy Hale Dish On Secret of the Wings
Disney is preparing for the DVD and Blu-Ray release of their new Tinker Bell movie, Secret of the Wings. They hired Debby Ryan and Lucy Hale to be the voices of two new fairies. Debby does the voice of Spike and Lucy is the voice behind Periwinkle. Because of the new movie and new characters that means interviews galore are in order with the two stars. The girls recently gave one on one interviews to support the movie and released a bunch of fun video clips such as talking about sisterhood (a topic in the movie). You can catch all of the latest segments down below for more info on the movie, on Lucy and Debby and to get a tasting of what you can expect from Secret of the Wings. As for when it will be released, it is currently set to drop on October 23.
I am glad that they have been adding new Disney fairies, but I am shocked that they have stuck with this theme. Since they mostly abandoned the whole princess theme, I assumed all fairytales would be pretty much over. But I am starting to think Disney is realizing that they need those kinds of projects to stay in the green so to speak. These other films haven’t provided them with much help as of late. The good news is that this new movie is coming out so closely to the holidays, so fans of the Disney fairies can have a great gift to look forward to.
How do you like Debby and Lucy working together? Do they make a good team? I think so and I also think their names being attached to it will help boost the sales. I am sure that was considered carefully by Disney before they asked them to join in on the project. However, I do hope that they find success without needing to attach big names like Lucy and Debby in the future because they will likely not want to stay with Disney for much longer that they already have.
