Cody Simpson Confirms 2013 Justin Bieber Tour Dates

Cody Simpson has done a few shows with Justin Bieber earlier on, but many fans wondered if he was going to return to the tour. So Cody released a statement and reason for why he is pushing back his original Europe tour plans for his debut album, which he has re-booked for a few shows between himself and Justin’s. He hasn’t explained all the details, but he did give fans the answers to their questions and I think that was classy. However, he was also very clear to make sure that his fans knew why he was “canceling” some shows and what was up next for the young star. Here is his official announcement in regards to Justin and touring.

My mate @justinbieber has offered me the chance to open for him on a lot of the upcoming #BelieveTour dates, this is going to force me to delay my trip to Europe and the UK in November. we will reschedule these dates for February and March. I am really sad that I will not see my European and UK fans next month but I will be there in February and March with @JustinBieber I have been so excited about meeting my UK and European Angels since we announced the #Paradise tour and it hurts me to have to wait longer. I will be opening the #BelieveTour in Chicago (both), Kansas City, St Louis, DC, NJ, Boston, Brooklyn and almost all of January. I will also be doing some of my own #Paradise shows as well. 11/7 in Sayersville NJ and 11/8 in Philly. we will provide details tomorrow. once again I am so sad about my UK and Europe Angels but I will be there with Justin on the Believe tour and will reschedule all of my dates. I wanted to clear something up. I will be touring with Justin in the UK in Feb, but I will also be rescheduling all of my Nov shows for then. I will still be doing my own #Paradise shows in UK and Europe during Feb and March.

I am glad that he was honest with his fans and let them know what is going on. That is a huge step in the right direction to build a lasting and truthful relationship with his fan base. They need to know that he cares and I think this update does just that for them. Hopefully his fans will be just as understanding as he was being honest. It will be hard to say that he doesn’t care for his UK fans when he has clear plans to go through there twice next year!

How do you like his statement? Was it smart of him or do you think he is working to hard to show that he is a good guy who adores his fans? I am not sure how to feel about this, but I am hopeful that it won’t go over badly. Cody is doing more than just trying, he is working and he is working extremely hard to make the most of his young career right now. So I applaud him for working hard to keep his fans in the know of things, it isn’t something get to hear too much about anymore so he did a rare feat for his fans that will be remembered for a long time to come.
