Zayn Malik Of One Direction Spotted On Crutches

Zayn Malik hasn’t had the best year, despite his band One Direction’s major success. He lost a family member, left Twitter over rumors (then came back on) and now he appears to be injured. He was spotted on crutches recently, making fans panic and send him well wishes on Twitter. He of course stayed on top of it, by letting his fans know that he is okay. However, he didn’t go into how he was injured or why he was on the crutches. He is currently waiting for their single and album release, which will take place in late September and November (in the order). No word on how is injury will effect the music video or not. As for his tweet, here is what he shared with his fans.

Hey guys just to let you all know I’m all good, no need to worry aha, just wanna take a moment to thank you guys for being so amazing. I’ve said it so many times but i’ll say it again, you really are the best fans in the world thank you for being so incredible. Love You all

I am glad that Zayn Malik is okay, but I am not sure why he won’t say why he is hurt. Fans would feel a lot better if they knew why and leaving them in the dark won’t help his cause. However, he does have the right to privacy so I suppose he has the right to keep it hushed. But I still feel bad for his fans who jumped at his virtual side. While he did say his fans are the best, I still feel like he could have been a tiny bit more open with them.

How do you feel about his response? I am glad that he addressed it and thanked his fans, but I am not crazy about him keeping his injuries hush-hush. It certainly won’t end the rumors about him or prevent them. I think talking about how or what was injured would, but he chose to not share that info. At least we do know that he is okay, though. That is a positive step in the right direction if you ask me, but not a solution that I think is 100% correct.
