Wreck-It Ralph Features Sonic the Hedgehog in Character Posters

By on September 22, 2012

Disney is slowly working on to support their upcoming video game based movie Wreck-It Ralph and their latest move was new character posters! They show off a range of famous video game characters such as Sonic the Hedgehog and Eggman. The four poster collection helps us remember that this movie will be focused on the virtual reality world of video games. For those who have not been following it, it is about bad guy Ralph who decided to switch games in arcade to try out his hands as being hero. However, something goes wrong and he realizes that he shouldn’t have taken the risk that he did make. The movie will open nationwide on November 2.

I know that I always say this, but I am so excited for this movie! It is a bright idea and concept that really is unique. The writers did a great job at coming up with this movie. I certainly hope that it does well in terms of box office sales! I think my biggest concern here is the fact that because it is so unique that they might not earn enough money from it because it is outside of the Disney box. I suppose we will have to see how it goes with their promotion and the general reaction from the public.

Do you think Wreck-It Ralph will do well or flop? I am hoping for the best, but I know Disney has had some big flops and that means that this movie could be a risk for them. However, I do believe in it and I am hoping for the best. It sounds like it could have a wide age appeal and I think that is a good sign for them, but it will be up Disney to promote that angle or not. We shall see what action Disney will take next.
