Taylor Swift Is Nominated For 5 MTV Europe Awards

It looks like Taylor Swift is leading the nominations for the MTV Europe Music Awards with 5 nominations.  Taylor shares the lead with Rihanna for the most nominations.

Taylor took to Facebook today to share her excitement with her fans the Swifties. Taylor says, “Just found out about the 5 MTV Europe Awards nominations!! IS THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENING?? I seriously just paced around the room in disbelief.”  Taylor received nominations for Best Female, Best Pop Act, Best Live Act and Best Look and Best World Stage.  Rihanna has been nominated for Best Female, Best Pop Act and Best Look.  Her collaboration with Calvin Harris for track ‘We Found Love’ also picked up nods for Best Song and Best Video.  Despite getting beat by One Direction at the MTV VMAs earlier this month, Justin Bieber is up for four awards at the MTV EMAs for Best Male, Best Pop Act, Best World Stage and Biggest Fans for his ‘Beliebers’.
This year’s EMAs will also see the return of the ‘Best Electronic’ award – which will be contested by Harris, David Guetta, Swedish House Mafia, Avicii and Skrillex – and the ‘Worldwide Act’ category.  The MTV Europe Music Awards will take place at the Festhalle in Frankfurt, Germany on Sunday, November 11 from 9pm local time, and will be broadcast on MTV channels around the world.  What do you think about this?  Which categories do you think Taylor will win?
