Selena Gomez – New Album Will Feature New Sound

Selena Gomez has been keeping herself busy with work and recently held a LiveStream video in France before the Venice Film Festival where she gave info on her next album. Since confirming that it was in the works, she has also expressed that it will be personal and she really wants Justin Timberlake to join her for a duet. She shares with her fans in the video that her music has changed a lot and also hinted at the fact that she will likely leave music behind at some point. However, she also made sure that her fans know her next album is exciting and she cannot wait to share it with all of her fans. She also briefly touches on Spring Breakers and how it isn’t for her young fans. You can hear what she all had to say about that and about not leaving her fans in the video down below.

I am glad that she is being honest and also expressing that she doesn’t want to stick with both career paths in long term. While she could easily change her mind again, I do think she really does seem to be committed to sticking one or the other. She seems to have found a balance that way and I know that I can support her on that level no problem at all. I just hope that she stays on this decent path and finds success with whatever she chooses to do full time when she is ready to pick one path for long term.

How do you feel about this news? Which should Selena Gomez stick with? I cannot pick since I think she thrives with both, but I am pretty sure most will say acting since that is how she got her start and she also seems “strongest” in. However, I think she does music pretty darn well when you consider how good her last album did in sales and charts. It certainly proves that she has what the world wants from music, so that is a good enough reason to stick with music mostly. It will really will have to come down to what she loves more out of the two careers.
