Selena Gomez Congratulates Wizards of Waverly Place Cast
While the hit Disney show Wizard of Waverly Place may now officially be gone from the Disney Channel, the Creative Arts Emmys are making certain that the Selena Gomez series is not forgotten in any ways.
Selena even went to Twitter this morning to congratulate the Wizards Of Waverly Place cast on their 3rd Emmy win. She was a star of the series for many years prior to it ending last fall, and “Wizards” is in many ways responsible for the massive success that she has today. She has by and large gone on to film movies, but do not be surprised if she makes a few guest appearances here and there on various shows. The critically-acclaimed show (which already has a series of Emmy wins under its belt already) took home the trophy of Outstanding Children’s Program Saturday night at the Creative Arts Emmys, which are a series of awards handed out that are not included in the actual telecast airing on ABC next week.
Some of the other programs related to children that won Creative Arts Emmys including “The Penguins of Madagascar” (for animated series) and “Sesame Street: Growing Hope Against Hunger” (for nonfiction series). What do you think about this?
