It is that time of the year again when the J-14 Teen Icon Awards take place, which means nominations must be named. Well, they just released their official batch of whom is nominated for what this year. Everything from YouTube to music to male & female pop icons are included this year. Selena Gomez to Demi Lovato to Justin Bieber to One Direction are up for awards. You can vote for your favorites at their website in a batch of polls to pick and choose from. Wow, that is a long list of people up for awards! You can clearly see a pattern among some of them, such as lots of Demi, Justin and One Direction. So it is only a numbers game for when they actually win one of those awards. I was surprised that Selena wasn’t up for more awards, but I suppose it is because she has been more in production than front stage this year. Hopefully next year she will have a good range of nominations from this awards’ show.

Who do you hope wins big? I assume One Direction will be a popular one, but they are a shoe in for the most part. I also think Demi and Justin will do pretty well, but the ones that they are up against One Direction they will likely lose. It is a shame, but they right now cannot compete with this steamroller of a band that they have of wiping up the awards and topping everything they can grab at this point.
