Ross Lynch Returns With Austin & Ally In October
Disney Channel’s show Austin & Ally is set to return for their second season on October 7th! Ross Lynch has been working hard this year with filming a beach themed musical for Disney next summer, then studio and filming the second season of his show. We now finally get to see him return with Laura Marano as everybody’s favorite musical duo. The premiere episode will be called “Costumes & Courage”, in which Austin has a big duet coming up with someone who cannot sign and Ally has to save the day! It sounds exciting and if you cannot wait until October to hear Ross sing, you can buy the official soundtrack on September 11th.
I am glad that they are bringing back the show soon, I just wish that Jessie was returning right now though. Granted, I think their target audiences are vastly different. Either way, I am glad that Ross and Laura will have a chance to entertain their fans again and show off their musical talent once more. It is just a shame that they make sure their scripts are written for young kids in mind and are regardless to older viewers.
How do you feel about the second season starting to finally air next month? Do you find the show worthy or do you like it is a weak one? It clearly had a strong fan base during the first season, but I am not sure yet how well this one will do. I am hopeful that they will grow the stories into more mature topics, but I realize that might not be the case here. However, we will be able to hear the songs that Ross sang on the first season and be able to relive those if this next season is a real dud.
