One Direction’s Live While We’re Young Is Upbeat
One Direction allowed some important music people in London preview their lead single “Live While We’re Young”, off Take Me Home. According to one of the insiders the song is true to what we know them for, a happy and upbeat song. However, that is all they released in regards of what the mysterious single. It is slated for release later on this month, while their second album will drop in November. In the mean time, “Live While We’re Young” has broken records in numbers of pre-orders made for it via on iTunes. It could be a sign of what is to come for the band who is ready to return with new music.
I am glad they have rave reviews for it, even if we cannot hear it yet. It seems like this album will be on a good start for the guys and I am happy for them, even though I am not crazy about their music. I think they certainly have worked crazy hard since their tour ended earlier this summer. They really are dedicated in bringing the hits for their fans around the world, with a main focus in their home of the UK.
How do you feel about this news? Do you think the song will be great or are you worried that it might be too strange for a lead single? I think it will work, but I am surprised that it is doing so well in pre-orders even though none of their fans have heard it. I personally would wait to hear them so I would know if I actually would want to download it. However, their fans are just as dedicated to them as they are to their fans, so I doubt they are complaining about the pre-orders right now. The real test will come once the album is released this November, when fans will be able to see what songs they really like compared to the okay ones.
