Nina Dobrev & Ian Somerhalder in First Vampire Diaries Season 4 Promo

The Vampire Diaries will be returning on October 11th with Vampire Soul (please note that is the title of the video, not technically the premier episode of the season), which features our favorite stars Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder. The preview of the season premiere shows Elena in a car accident and fighting to stay alive, while Damon freaks out. However, it appears that the love stories will be a huge part of the season! It appears that Elena may have a whole new set of love life issues to deal with by the looks of it. Of course, that means we will need to tune in for the 4th season which is sadly more than a month away right now. However, in the mean time you can see the preview down below for more hints of what we can expect for Elena, Stefan, and Damon.

I am glad that CW has released a new promo for the new season, but it does make the fans only suffer a tiny bit more to know what they have to wait for. However, it should help keep the fans busy with guessing on what is to come out of the new season. Now if we could only get some juicy tidbits from the stars! That would make this whole season more interesting to watch and see, but I am sure that they have to stay hushed on some things thanks to their contracts.

What do you hope happens with Nina and Ian’s characters? Should Elena date Stefan if it is possible? It would be interesting, but I am going to trust the writers on this one. The show has had a lot of success so far and that clearly means they know what the fans want. So I find that will be the best way to take and hope for another great season like they had for their third one. That was truly a mind capturing one and I can only say that it will be tough to top off.
