Miranda Cosgrove Joins Miley Cyrus in Rock the Vote PSA

Rock the Vote is back this year thanks to the upcoming election on November 6th and this year they brought in some big stars for the PSA! Miley Cyrus, Miranda Cosgrove, Jane Lynch and others were asked to film the PSA that helps spread a reminder to younger people that you should vote this year. The PSA has no political affiliation, which should please both sides of the spectrum. But they are firm that the younger generations need to be heard and have a say in their countries politics. You can watch the PSA down below if you wish to see Miley take center stage with her edgy hair and to see how they are requesting for the younger generation to have their voice heard.

I am surprised that Miranda is part of the Rock the Vote. She always seemed to stay away from certain topics and while this group has nothing to do with either party, it does seem to be surprising that she would agree to be part of this movement. She is certainly no Miley, who doesn’t mind when it comes to sharing what she believes in. In fact, she has found her foot in her mouth a few times now and appears to not care either way on how it affects her or her career. She sticks to what she believes in and has gained respect in the industry for speaking up. Hopefully Miranda will keep things a tad more simple than that, though and prevent Rock the Vote from turning into a political fight. After all, they need to keep in line with what Rock the Vote is and that means no siding with one of the parties.

How do you feel of Miranda and Miley joining the political movement? I think it is interesting, but celebrities can only do so much for politics. Miley has seen the outcry and has made her opinions pretty well known, even though some wish she had not. She isn’t one to shy away, but I am glad to see that she has taken on a more reasonable take on to express the need for the voice of the country’s younger generation can be heard.
