Miley Cyrus Album To Be Out At The End Of TheYear?

Miley Cyrus has been busy in the news lately not for her acting gigs or her music but more for her personal life and style choices.

But over the last few months Miley Cyrus has been adamant that she will be releasing an album soon and she is busy in the studio working on it.  Miley told ET at the iHeart Music Festival, “I’ve been in the studio writing a lot… I should have something out by the end of this year, so I’m really excited about that.”  The 19-year-old pop star recently chopped off her long hair into a punky, platinum pixie and announced a surprise engagement to boyfriend Liam Hemsworth, but now she’s ready for the spotlight to be back on her work.  The former child actress is doing her best to take control of all aspects of her life and career this year. She said that she has been meeting with labels about putting out her new music but is being cautious.  Cyrus has been collaborating on her new sound with Pharrell Williams and hip-hop production team Da Internz.

In addition to working on new music, Cyrus will also continue to expand her acting résumé with a guest role on the CBS sitcom ‘Two and a Half Men.’ Her new film ‘So Undercover’ is also due to hit theaters in limited release on October 5.  She released her last album, ‘Can’t Be Tamed,’ in 2010.  She also told Billboard, “I wanna make a sick record.”  Are you excited about a new album?
