Gossip Girl – Ed Westwick & Leighton Meester Gone Maybe Gone Stills

By on September 18, 2012

Gossip Girl is coming to a close and that means we only have 10 episodes in the finale seaso. CW has been working to promote the final season, which will kick off on October 8th. CW has now just released the official promo stills with Ed Westwick, Leighton Meester and Blake Lively for the season premiere called “Gone Maybe Gone”. You can see an unhappy Blair, while Serena seems to have found peace for now in the photos. However, it will remain to be seen what truly happens during the episode once it airs on the network. In the meantime you can view the stills from the premiere episode down below.

I don’t think it is a secret that I love Gossip Girl and this is hard for me to see it end. However, I am glad that they are giving it a season that they made it known as the final one before airing it. I just wish that it would hold more episodes than 10, since I find it hard that they can end a 6 season show in just 10 episodes. But I am hoping that their writers can pull it off and give all of the characters the respect of a closing story that they deserve.

How do you like these photos? I love them and I love the way they dressed the girls in them. Very classy and stylish, especially Serena and Blake. I just find what Chuck wears a tad tacky, but still very much like him. As for how short the season will be, I am sad about it but hopeful. The series writers have done some amazing storylines in the past 6 years, so I think they can prove themselves worthy again by making it end in a high note for all 5 of the main characters at last.
