Gabby Douglas Heads To Vampire Diaries

Gabby Douglas might be an Olympic winner on a Olympic winning team, but she is now heading an award winning show-The Vampire Diaries! She headed to Atlanta, GA to shoot a cameo for a future episode this season. Gabby has previously expressed her love of the show and the stars themselves have shared their mutual love back to her during her stint at the Olympics. Now she had a chance to film a scene with Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev and most of the other cast- except for Kat Graham, who was away. Gabby’s episode will air on November 29th. I am happy for Gabby! She seems to be able to really live her dream and do all of these fun things that she would otherwise not be able to do if it wasn’t for winning the gold. I am sure her family and herself must feel so blessed that she has these chances to prove that has so much more to offer than gymnastics. That is her passion and I am sure she is happy to be known as one of the biggest stars of the 2012 Summer Olympics.

How do you feel about this news? Should Gabby keep on making big leaps or not? I say so, but then again I am a fan of hers and I would love to see her stretch outside of sports a little more. Who knows, she might be able to land more acting roles now that she is attached to one episode of a popular TV series. I am not sure what Gabby wants to do more of now that she will always be considered an Olympic star. At least we know by the tweets that the stars made that they must have felt just as excited and nervous as Gabby was to meet each other. That had to help calm her nerves down a little.
