Demi Lovato Supports Gene Simmons’ Daughter on X-Factor

The X-Factor recently had a surprising contestant show, the daughter of a legendary Kiss member in fact-Gene Simmons. His daughter Sophie Tweed-Simmons showed up on the show to prove herself as a singer without relying on her famous father’s help. She sang a her heart out with a cover of an Adele song, which won most of the judges over. Demi Lovato, Britney Spears and Simon Cowell were impressed by her raw talent and powerful voice. Only LA Reid tried to kill off Sophie’s dreams, while the other three were supportive of her attempt of earning her own place in the music industry. I am glad that Britney, Simons and Demi Lovato were all open minded to her despite of the connections she already has. None of them too sure of her at first but she did prove herself as worthy to be on the show. I hope that she will be able to far in the show at the very least or maybe be signed later on by others. She clearly inherited her father’s talent and he appeared to be proud of her as well as of her mother. It had to be a special moment for that family by far right now.

How do you like Sophie? Is she talented and does she deserves to be on the show? I think so, regardless of whom she is related to. In fact, I think it is highly respectable that she wants to create her own way in the business. That is not an easy choice especially when you have one, but I love that she isn’t afraid to work hard for it. It will certainly mean a lot more to her once she does reach her goal than if she had her father just handing it over to her.

   Everyone misses the coolness of that whole deal. Demi really showed her age during this audtion. She said ” hey I know you you’re Nick’s sister” —–to most everyone else she is Gene Simmons daughter. Too funny.
