Bridgit Mendler’s Hello My Name Is Artwork Unveiled

By on September 1, 2012

Good Luck Charlie‘s Bridgit Mendler has been hard at work promoting her single “Ready or Not” since its release. But she now has to promote her debut album Hello My Name Is and she has released the edgy cover. In it she gazes off camera and has fun colors streaked into her hair, which is not the usual look we are used to seeing Bridget with. The actual album is set to be released on October 22. For those curious about what direction she will go with it, Bridget previously has described her upcoming album as pop meets funky and soul.

I am glad that we get to see a different side of Bridgit with this album cover. It shows that she is ready to be seen as more than just the sweet Disney girl. I love the colorful hair streaks and it makes me wonder how edgy we can expect her to be? Maybe something alike the lines of how she was in Lemonade Mouth? That was a great movie and I could see her being a bit of rocker if she wishes. However, I do think we should respect her and her direction that she is going in. Either way, I do like the cover and I think it captures what she says the album will be-a undefined genre.

How do you like the cover? Does Bridgit look great or should she stick with her regular blonde locks? I think she looks good either way and whichever makes her happiest she should do then. I do like how she sort of gives off the feeling that she is doing her own thing with her album and you can tell that by the cover. It was a great pick to chose for an album that will introduce a different side of Bridgit that most of do not know.
