Behind the Scenes of Olivia Holt’s Girl Vs Monster

By on September 12, 2012

Olivia Holt has her big Disney Channel coming out in October called Girl Vs Monster, which she she is busy promoting. So they just released a behind the scenes video on the set. She talks excitedly about her role as a daughter of monster hunters. However, she finds herself in her parents place and has to save her loved ones from the monsters (after a life of not believing in those them or fears in general). It will actually premier on the 12th of October before the return of Austin & Ally. You can view the behind the scenes video down below to learn more about Olivia’s big movie break.

I am glad that they are working to promote her new movie, but I would think that they would have started in July for the best results. Granted, Disney has been working hard and they might not have had the time to promote it so soon. But I do feel like since it is about a month away that it isn’t enough time to really give it enough time for people to hear about it if they don’t watch a whole lot of Disney Channel right now.

Do you think Olivia’s movie will do well or do you think Disney Channel has had better ones? I think it sounds like a good movie and I do want to see it, but I am not sure if it can compete with some of their other ones. This one really is a seasonal based one, unlike the likes of Radio Rebel or Geek Charming. Those were all regular movies that can be shown often without it depending on a season and since Girl Vs Monster is part of their Monstober programming, it is considered seasonal. However, being seasonal is nothing wrong and I think they can find themselves with a classic that they will air for years to come.
