US Olympic Soccer Team Take On A Miley Cyrus Song

Thanks to the craze caused by fans of fan made parody videos and Carly Rae Jepsen’s catchy song, the US Olympic Women’s Soccer team danced to a Miley Cyrus song! The ladies lip-synched to “Party In the U.S.A.“, which has brought laughs to those who viewed the fun viral video. They show off the not so good side of partying and make sure to keep the humor of it all in. The ladies did a great job and while it isn’t a way the US wants to be remembered, it was fun and entertaining way to keep things fun for them. It was clever and a nice break from “Call Me Maybe”. It is a great way to show that we do have variety! It is about time we get to see more than just Carly and I certainly think we all can use a break from it. However, I would love to see more variety in their song choices. Maybe a positive song would be a wise choice? That way the world can see that we can also have fun with serious songs and as a way to make some people feel better if they saw the Olympic teams trying to do something more inspirational than they already have done before. I know that I would welcome that and I sadly don’t see them doing that.

How do you like this video? It was fun and cute, but I am not sure what the point was for it than to just to have fun. I suppose what would really be interesting is if Miley came out and shared her thoughts on the video. That would be the most fun part of all of this. The simple fact Miley sang the song and is very opinionated would make a statement from her would be worth gold. However, she seems to be happy to stay out of the lime light so I doubt she will release a statement on their fun video. I kind of hope that we get to see more videos like these as time goes on from famous people and athletes.
