Selena Gomez Eyes Justin Timberlake For Duet

Justin Bieber is no longer the only Justin on Selena Gomez’s mind, she also has her eye on Justin Timberlake. However, it isn’t that way! Selena talked to Teen Vogue and shared that she would love a duet with Timberlake. She admitted that she thought he quit the music business, but she still loved his music. This news comes at the heels of the news about Justin writing and producing a song for Selena‘s next album. No word on why Selena didn’t pick her boyfriend, but she certainly did gush over the former N’Sync member in the interview. Here is what she told Teen Vogue.

Who I would die to work with, but I don’t think he ever would — I don’t even think he’s doing music anymore — is Justin Timberlake. Just ’cause I love his music sooo much.

She sounds like most girls of her generation, boy bands back in the day were just as loved as they are today. I do agree that it seems like Justin Timberlake has left the music business. However, his acting is above par so that is the good news. I also think that he would compliment her musically, but I am not sure if he is willing to go back to the studio. I do love the fact that she didn’t hide her inner fangirl when talking about him. You can tell that she really still loves him and his music, so it is great news to see that she isn’t ashamed of being a fangirl.

How do you feel about her desire to work with Timberlake? I think it is an interesting choice. He would do well with her style, but I also think that her boyfriend would as well. Plus I am not sure if Timberlake is really up to her speed. His last album was more hip-hop and she does dance kind of music. I think he has moved past his pop days are over, which wouldn’t mesh well with Selena. However, it is a fun thought and you never know, she may get the surprise of her life!
