By on August 3, 2012

Pop singer, Manika, is definitely making a name for herself in the music industry since opening up for mega popular One Direction on their summer US tour. She stormed onto the scene leaving fans wanting more. To answer their wishes, she has released the brand new music video for her soon to be hit, “Good Girls.”

The new track comes off of her recently debuted EP, Middle of Hollywood. The EP was released by Sony Red/Wamaframa Records/CCA Entertainment.

Manika is an 18 year old budding star who was discovered by the late Frank Dileo and CeCe Sammy. Dileo was most famously known as the The King of Pop Michael Jackson’s long-time manager. CeCe Sammy is most recognized as a television personality and vocal coach best recognized for her time on UK’s “Pop Idol.”

“When CeCe was first approached me I told her that I was fully committed to my music and performing career, and that is my passion… to me it’s always been about being an all around creative person. Both live and on studio recordings, there’s nothing more important to me than touching people with my music and connecting with them through the stories I’m privileged to tell.”

The young starlet is climbing the rungs of the music industry. She was good enough for One Direction to notice her and have her be their opener, it seems she will be the next big star that everyone will be talking about.
