One Direction To Pop-Up In Toronto

By on August 17, 2012

One Direction fans will be more than happy to know that a special pop-up 1D merchandise store will pop up in Toronto on August 18th.

The store will open up on 680 Yonge Street, which is just two blocks down south of Bloor Street. Unfortunately the store will close up on September 2nd. This store will sell exclusive One Direction gifts like calendars, posters, cotton tee shirts, and more.

This will be the first time a 1D store has opened up in North America. 1D stores have already popped up in Australia with locations in Perth and Sydney. The manager of One Direction stores, Reece Page, is excited about this new shop. Here is what he had to say about it:

The band performed in the city a few months ago, and after that concert it is clear that Toronto is home to thousands of loyal ‘Directioners’. Therefore, the decision to host the North American debut of 1D World in Toronto was an easy one. Toronto fans show great excitement and support for their favourite bands.

I wonder how long it will be before they open up a 1D store in big cities in the United States like New York City, Los Angeles, or Chicago?
