One Direction To Launch Headphone Line

One Direction is following the path that Justin Bieber has set, they have merchandise galore. The band will have a new set of 1D themed headphones that will come out this fall via Jazware. They are pink and white, with a photo of them on each side while also featuring rhinestones. No word on what stores or when they will come out, except that we can expect it for this fall. The headphones will cost $19.99, which makes them a fairly reasonable price for the holidays. Here is what the Jazware’s executive vice president, Laura Zebersky had to say about the headphones.

It certainly does not sound bad and like something that will sell good for the holidays. I just hope that they will last as long as other brands when you use them regularly. To me that would be the huge factor in if they should be bought or not. I am gong to hope for the best, but only time will truly tell us either way. I am sure One Direction only wants the best for their fans and I doubt that ends just at their music. They seem to be savvy businessmen, so I like to think that research was done by both parties involved.

What do you guys think of the headphones? Should One Direction avoid that path or stay on it? It is a sticky topic on either side. But I like to think that they would want to do their own thing and maybe not overload the world with their merchandise. However, with that being said and knowing who their management is, I think it is safe to assume that won’t be the case. So some parents should expect an overload of One Direction related items on holiday wish lists.
