Katy Perry Introduces Wide Awake For Radio Disney

Katy Perry may have slowed down a little since last year, but she is still releasing music and she called Radio Disney to remind people people of that. She talked to them about her movie and new song “Wide Awake” (which she called in just to introduce for the most part) and her always changing hair color. Best part was that it was filmed and fans who missed it can hear what she all had to say about her song, hair and the documentary that she released from her last tour. You can hear the call in the video down below. “Wide Awake” is her second single off release of Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection, it will also be the very last single off the Teenage Dream as a whole.

I am glad that she is doing so well, even after her divorce. She seems to have found piece and I am so happy for her. I also think that she certainly needs this break, even if she doesn’t wish to take a long break. Give her some breathing room and who knows what will come from her next? I can only expect more of her future music will be even more personal now. Katy is growing up and I am not sure how much longer we can expect fun, dance songs when she clearly is moving on to a new place in her life.

How do you like her little chat session with Radio Disney? It was nice, but I am surprised that it took them this long to debut it on their station. It first came out during the spring and it makes zero sense for it to come out this late. Granted, most of the kids have likely already heard the song, but it still seems bizarre to say the least. I suppose it is better that they joined later than never on this, right?
