Justin Bieber & Selena Gomez Rule Google

By on August 9, 2012

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are a real power couple and Google just proved it! In July Justin was search for more then 30 million times, while his lady love Selena top it off next at more then 20 million. Not bad for barely legal adults who started their careers as kids. Lady Gaga sits below the couple at third place and was searched for a little more than 16 million searches, which is a huge feat in itself. It certainly pays to be Justin or Selena, that much is proven once again by this news. They must feel so proud of their hard work as well as their popular relationship that helps to keep them in the news.

Let me get my congrats out of the way here. They certainly have worked so hard to reach this point that it must feel so good to take down even Lady Gaga. Justin is clearly leading the searches, but it is not shabby for Selena who used to only be known for her role in Wizards of Waverly Place. It seems to be a good sign for her and her dreams in her career. However, I suspect mostly they are searched over the simple fact that they are a couple and not for their own rightful careers.

How do you feel about this news? Does this prove that they are the next Jay-Z and Beyonce? I think they could be on that path, but time will only tell us. I would love to see them go the distance, but they are so young and we should be more realistic on what the future will bring for them as a couple. In the mean time, we can enjoy them topping the month’s searches and show the world that they are serious singers. Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez can take this advantage and turn it into their benefit by far if you ask me.
