Jennifer Lawrence-Talks Cast Bonding During Hunger Games Filming

By on August 16, 2012

On the cusp of Catching Fire filming and the DVD release of The Hunger Games, you know we will be hearing more about the stars again. So with the extra features on the DVD, they have released a new tidbit from Jennifer Lawrence’s comments. She talked about how close the cast and crew became, since she points out that they spend so much time together. She shares that it is almost like you have been friends with your co-workers for a few years. However, she was careful to not sound happy or sad over it, she just stated it as a matter of fact info. Here is what she all had to say about her bond with them.

[It was a] huge bonding experience, because you spend so much time with these people, [It was a] huge bonding experience, because you spend so much time with these people,

She sure knows how to sound indifferent over it! I would think most would feel like close friends or even family, but she doesn’t seem connected to them. Granted, it was just an interview and she does seem to do a good job with keeping her private life private. So that might have a huge reason as to why she hasn’t really said if she is close to her co-workers or not. At least we know that she does realize just how much they are working together and hopefully are natured some sort of relationship with them. Otherwise when they go back for the sequel, it won’t be any easier for
anyone on that set.

Do you think Jennifer is close with any of her co-stars? I hope, but I can understand how she may wish to keep some things out of the eyes of the public. At least she and rest of her co-stars have managed to avoid fan hysteria like Harry Potter and Twilight caused. I am hoping that they will be able to avoid those issues with the sequel as well. Nobody wants to see them suffer like some of their other fellow young stars tied to movie franchises like her own. Don’t you agree?
