Jennette McCurdy – I Cannot Wait for Sam & Cat To Start

Jennette McCurdy might be fresh off finishing her old show iCarly, but is ready to jump back into the game again. Her new show with Ariana Grande, Sam & Cat has only been given the green light for a pilot, but she seems hopeful. She recently tweeted that she was ready to get started on their new show, in which Sam moves in with Cat and they find themselves starting a babysitting job to make ends meet. It sounds like it will be a hoot to watch and will be just as much fun for the girls to work on. Here is what Jennette had to say about being eager to start the new series.

It certainly sounds like Jennette can barely contain herself. I do hope that Nickelodeon will pick up the series and keep at least those 2 on TV. Ariana and Jennette will make an unlikey team, but that will be a fun part of it all. Sort of like Lucy and Ethel from I Love Lucy, don’t you think? I cannot wait to see how it turns out and I will be rooting for their new show. Nobody wants their career to end with their previous shows ending and being able to launch their joint show together? That would be a great move for them and fans alike.

How do you feel about Jennette being excited and so sure of the show’s success (or at least that is the feeling I am getting from her tweet)? I am happy and she might know something more about their show right now, but until then I think she just cannot wait to head back to a sound stage and act again. It has been a huge part of her life, so to take it away from her like that wasn’t the best move, even if they did have plans for her own gig. Do you agree that it was tacky of Nickelodeon to plan the end of the series like they did for both Jennette and Ariana?
