GMA Asks Stylist About Miley Cyrus New Look

Good Morning America caught up with a hair stylist, Tabatha Coffey to talk about Miley Cyrus’ new hairdo. She cut off her former longish golden locks for a cancer charity, so they can make a wig out of her hair but she has also hinted before on wanting a pixie cut, which is exactly what she went for for (albeit an edgier version of the look). Despite of her own love of the new ‘do, fans have caused a blacklash over it. Now a hair stylist is talking about her look and how it is set to become the biggest trend for 2012. I am glad that she is being talked about for something that was for a good cause, but we will have to get used to the new look. I don’t think anybody expected her with a sassy, short hair style. She always seemed pleased with longer hair and it became her trademark so to speak with that top knot style bun. That is what we were used to and I just don’t think anybody expected it. However, I do think we should support her and her new look just as long as she is happy and healthy. That is the key, regardless of how random her new look might be. I am sure she just wants to enjoy it and not be questioned on why she would go this drastic change.

Do you like her hair? I think it is cute on her, but I am not sure how much it will catch on right away. Some fans will likely follow, but over time is when I think that we can start seeing it more regularly. I just don’t think based on the Twitter reactions that fans will jump on board ASAP. That just doesn’t seem to be something that will happen quickly. At least Miley loves it and some of her fans are supporting the look. I think we could start expecting to see more mature roles being lined up for her thanks to her new ‘do, with even some edgier roles! How do you think her hair will affect her future work projects?
