Glee-Darren Criss Poses As Robin from Batman

Glee is working hard to promote their upcoming season that starts in September and they just released a new still from a future episode. This one is from their upcoming Halloween episode, which not much info has been revealed about yet. The photo shows Darren Criss as Robin from Batman! His colorful costume shows a fun and silly side of his character, even if he is cutting it up in the still. Here is what Ryan Murphy tweeted along with the photo.

It sounds like Ryan is in a panic by the sheer number of photos that he is releasing. It is hard to see what his goal is with all of this, but I suppose he is wanting to drum up interest for his show. I wonder how much longer it will last, though? It seems like last season wasn’t as big or as popular as their previous seasons. Granted, he made a few bad choices that he backed out of since then, but I am not sure if that is the full reason to say his show is hurting. I personally suspect it has to do with the lack of decent music to do new covers of.

How do you like the promo stills? Will this season be better than last you think? I would love to see it succeed, but I am going to be honest-I have my doubts. It seems like this could be slightly better, but I don’t know if they will ever earn their former status that they had in previous seasons. That seems unlikely, but not uncommon. If he can find new ways to spice it up, he might find some success within that for the series along with new blood.
