First Look of Ashley Tisdale On Sons of Anarchy

By on August 11, 2012

Ashley Tisdale is about to make her return to TV with an episode arch on Sons of Anarchy and they just released a first look at her character. She will be appearing on at least two episodes on the new season (which kicks off on September 11, 2012), with the possible return for later episodes. Ashley hasn’t been on a live action TV series since Hellcats ended. Ashley is also working on her new production project and has signed up for Scary Movie 5, which will keep her busy for a while. No word on when her episodes will air on the show as of yet.

I am glad that she is starting to get back to acting. I think that is where she shines and while it hurt for old show to be canceled, that is part of the job. However, I think she must have taken that time to focus on her production company and now that she has a head start on that, she feels like she can return to acting. It would be great to see her return to that show for more episodes, but I think they want to see how it does in ratings first. Let’s hope that they find it worth while when it does air.

How do you like the photo? Should Ashley keep trying more mature roles? I think if she feels like that is the right move for her, then yes. But I am not sure about where her fan base stands. How many watchers of her past work watch a show like Sons of Anarchy every week? Not many and while they may tune in for Ashley’s sake, I am not sure realistically how her mature career choices will affect her career since she never did the switch slowly. What do you guys think, will her episodes do well or not?
