Demi Lovato Joins Tumblr

Call Demi Lovato the queen of social media! She joined Tumblr and shared the announcement with fans via Twitter. You can find her at http://demilovato.tumblr.com/, where she will share videos and photos from life on the road as well as from The X-Factor. For those who hate Tumblr, please do not fret! She will still be active on Twitter as she has been since she joined the fun social media website. As to kick start her new blog, she even made a Tumblr teaser video, which you can find at the bottom of this post. As for her official announcement about her new found home on Tumblr, here is her quote.

It sounds like Demi is loving her social media and fans! I am glad that she did join Tumblr, since I think we will be seeing a lot more photos from her. However, I would hate to see Twitter take a back seat for her. I always loved her Twitter stream and I feel like it really allowed her to directly connect with fans on it. It seems like on Tumblr that isn’t all that much possible, except for sharing whatever she shares. That just isn’t the same kind of interaction that we all have grown to love.

How do you feel about her new blog? It is a nice touch, but I am not crazy about the whole Tumblr system. I do feel like it takes the social out of social media. However, I am happy that she is so excited by it! That means a lot and I love to see her be so happy over it. I have no doubt that she will become a popular blog on Tumblr, I just hope that the site won’t become a nightmare for her as it has for some people. Are you concerned about Tumblr not being the best site for Demi right now to be on?
