Demi Lovato Brings American Honey To Highland Park, IL

Demi Lovato is having fun on tour right now and she recently went to Highland Park, IL for the Ravinia Festival. She sang her usual hits of “Skyscraper”, “You’re My Only Shorty”, “All Night Long” and a cover of Lady Antebellum’s “American Honey”. She rocked the stage and gave her best as she always does, but also added a touch of a more mature style to her usual look with a white blazer. But perhaps the real winner here is the fact that she gave another one of her famous speeches before “Skyscraper”. She thanks her fans for their support and reminded them asking for help is not a sign of weakness. You can hear her whole speech and rest of her lovely performances in the videos down below.

I am glad that she is having so much fun with it, I think that is key to her happiness. I would hate to see her to lose that spark or passion and so far she seems to be going strong on this tour. I think it helps that she knows just how much she means to her fans and she finds music as a way to give back. Either way, I think Demi Lovato is doing so much good with her music and also with her little speeches of hope. She really is one heck of a role model for today and I am glad that we all get to enjoy her music along the way.

How do you like her speech? I love it and I love that she has made it her thing to do. It will be an amazing reminder for her fans and herself, I can only hope that those who are hurting will take heed of her advice. She has been there and she knows, so why not take her advice? As for her cover songs, I love them. I love that she switches it up and plays around with it. I think that helps to keep her music fresh and as a way to show her fans that they have no idea what set list they will get at her concert. It makes it that much more fun, don’t you think?

   Demi has surprised me by covering ” American Honey” ..I know a lot of people have been saying they would like to see her do it with Lady Antebellum. I have other dreams. I could write all day. So to save from the boredom. I just dream the best for Demi. — By the way for a 19 year old to give a speech before ” Skyscraper” every night, not have the speech wrote down, and not be shy about doing it over and over speaks volumes for her character. Man I hope her the best.

   This girl has magic in her voice!!!I men despite the change of look (blond hair, more colours than before in clothes, more makeup, a lil weight here and there which suits her so much btw!!) she is magic I feel like crying when I hear her live!!!
