Cody Simpson Releases Wish U Were Here Music Video
Cody Simpson might be on tour with Big Time Rush right now, but he has been staying busy with his next album coming out. He recently released the much awaited for music video for “Wish U Were Here”. They already released some behind the scenes footage of Cody working on the video. It is a single off his upcoming October release of Paradise (which has been delayed at least once before) and previously released Preview to Paradise. The video came out during the summer, as he expressed interest in a summertime release for it before. You can catch the music video down below.
I am glad that Cody Simpson was able to release the music video when he wanted to. I think his career has been so slow to do what he wants that it is about time we get to see him prepare for a big release. While I am not crazy for his music, I do think that he should be able to live his dream. Now that he has been able to do some of that on his time schedule, I think we all should prepare for more big things from him in the future. I doubt that he will be stopping at this. It is his time to shine and he knows it!
How do you like the video? Are you happy that he was able to release during his goal time for it? Yes, I am. I think things have been put on the back burner for him way too long and we need to let the guy live and do things that he wants to do. I am not sure why so much of his labels’ focus hasn’t been on him when we clearly know how successful he has been so far. It seems to be a huge oversight that would make me concerned if I was him. But as long as he is happy, I suppose we can be supportive of his decisions for his career.
